What Vehicles We Handle – Our auto repair center is equipped with an 18,000 lb capacity lift, allowing us to service all passenger vehicles, Sprinter vans, many Class C motorhomes, heavy-duty pickup trucks (including duallies), and up to Class 4 commercial vehicles. We handle the big jobs your average shop can’t!
Typical Time Requirement – It’s usually about an hour to an hour and a half for a standard service. However, it can take longer if the technician discovers that critical suspension parts (like tie rod ends or ball joints) are worn out, rusted, or corroded. Since the alignment bolts must be adjustable, any worn or seized components must be repaired or replaced first.
How it’s Done – The Hunter HawkEye Elite system uses four cameras and wheel-mounted targets for highly accurate, non-contact measurement.
- Setup: The technician attaches lightweight Target Clamps to all four wheels.
- Rolling Compensation: The vehicle is gently rolled a short distance. This quick step allows the system to compensate for wheel runout and is much faster than traditional lifting methods.
- Measurement: The four cameras instantly read the wheel targets and compare the current alignment angles (camber, caster, and toe) against the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications.
- Adjustment: The technician makes live adjustments to the steering and suspension parts while viewing real-time feedback on the screen, guiding the wheels back into the exact “green” factory tolerance.
Cost – The cost of an alignment varies based on the vehicle type, size, and the type of alignment required (2-wheel or 4-wheel). Our prices start at $69.99 for a Light-Duty vehicle, $99.99 for a Medium-Duty vehicle (25,000–35,000 lbs), and $129.99 for a Heavy-Duty vehicle (45,000–55,000 lbs).
